Astra platinum-coated stainless, and they fit any standard double edge razor. Smooth, forgiving, and consistent from blade to blade, which is why they're what most people hand a beginner. If you're not sure which blade to start with, start with these.

These are also what you want for our barber razors. Snap one in half and clip it in. We only sell full DE blades, so the snapping is on you. It's easier than it sounds, and the blade wrapper is there to hold while you do it.

Shake the razor dry instead of wiping the blade. Wiping strips the coating and costs you a shave or two.
